A manufacturing organization with more than 2,000 users across 40 companies needed to modernize and standardize its IT environment after years of acquisitions created fragmented systems, inconsistent collaboration tools, and uneven cybersecurity controls. SOLUTION
ECI deployed a standardized managed cloud environment with security built in by design, onboarding the organization through a phased program to minimize disruption. Identity, access, collaboration, and endpoint management were unified across business units, supported by layered cybersecurity including SIEM, SOC, XDR, MFA, endpoint protection, email security, and managed firewalls.
The platform also incorporated high availability and disaster recovery while aligning with compliance frameworks common in manufacturing and private equity environments. Repeatable integration and separation frameworks enabled efficient acquisitions and clean divestitures, creating an IT operating model that supports ongoing M&A activity and scalable growth.
